Who can join?  Membership is open to anyone who graduated from or attended MCHS for at least two years.  Present and former faculty/staff with at least ten years of service are also eligible for membership.

How much are dues?  Annual membership dues are $10 per person while lifetime dues are $100 per individual.

What is the purpose?  To foster in the minds of former students of MCHS a strong sentiment for their Alma Mater, to nurture a deep and abiding love for its welfare, to recognize alumni who bring credit to the school, to suggest and direct proper efforts on the part of the members of the Association in building up the institution, and to cooperate with other agencies interested in Murray County High School to promote the academic, vocational, and athletic programs of the school. 

What does the association do?  Annual activities include the awarding of the Anne Harris Brindle Memorial Academic Scholarship and the Allen Ross Memorial Athletic Scholarship as well as the Alumni Hall of Fame induction each November.  The association also makes other contributions to the school as the needs arise.  The association supported the efforts to restore the Rock Building which is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places and serves as the V.C. Pickering Administrative Center for the Murray County Schools. More recently, the group worked with MCHS to bring the Sports Hall of Fame up-to-date and create a MCHS Coaches Hall of Fame.

When are the meetings?  Regular meetings are on the second Monday in April, July, and October at 6:30 p.m.  Meetings are held at the Historic Wright Hotel on Market Street in Chatsworth.
